A memorial service was conducted at the National Police Headquarters in Lilongwe, honoring 14 police officers who died in the line of duty between 2017 and 2020.
Present at The memorial service was Inspector General of Police George Kainja who described the fallen cops as heroes who were selfless and loved their work by sacrificing their lives for the sake of the nation at large.
Kainja also urged officers who feel unappreciated, to find comfort in the fact that God, who is ever faithful, will always reward their fidelity for the services rendered. “Let us be united and ever committed to our services. I urge you to continue depending on God by being faithful to Him.” said Kainja,
