The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has described the progress of the hearing of the Thomas Mpinganjira bribery case as satisfactory and likely to end on Friday.
According to ACB Director General Reyneck Matemba said hearing of the case would have finished on Tuesday with their investigators playing the role of witnesses but would finish on Friday instead, because the remaining judges are currently engaged in Mangochi. “We are making good progress and we could have finished with the witnesses today (Monday) only that some judges are committed in Mangochi, where there is an induction of the new judges,” Matemba said.
Today ACB will parade Judge Redson Kapindu as witness while the turn of Justice Ivy Kamanga and three investigators from the bureau would come on Friday.
