A project known as Agricultural Commercialisation (Agcom) has pledged to transform the agriculture sector and support subsistence farmers to graduate to commercial based production.
The project had organized a sensitisation workshop, where attendees were assured of food security and economic growth through agriculture.
The project was launched in 2018 has funding from the World Bank, amounting to $95m. Agcom National Coordinator Ted Nankhumwa, said that the project would contribute to diversified production and increased productivity.
