AHL Sacco on Friday donated teaching materials and other assorted items said to be worth K1.5 million to special needs learners at Lilongwe Demonstration School, as AHL Sacco president, Martin Sabola said the donation School Head Teacher, Caroline Chiwayula Majiga.
Sabola attributed the donation to the spirit of the festive season celebration, while the donation is aimed at addressing some of the challenges the school is facing. On the other hand, the School’s Head Teacher, Caroline Chiwayula Majiga hailed the sacco for the support “These learners need more support. When we teach them, we also need other people to come and assist so we are very thankful,” Majiga said.
The donation follows as recently, the African Library Project gave to the school, a development that saw the arrival of children’s books.
