Airtel Limited has donated 75 desks to Nsambamwali Primary School in Lirangwe as part of Airtel Money Trust’s goals.

Airtel’s Senior Zone Business Manager Leslie Tsilizani said that Airtel Money Trust reached out to the Ministry of Education and for a list of primary schools that are lacking desks from across the country, which will be donated to in the course of the year.

Prior to the donation, Nsambamwali Primary School had 1116 students who were using only 25 desks. The school’s Headteacher, Dyton Malizani hailed the company for the gesture but pleaded for more support from other well-wishers, saying the school was facing other challenges.
