In an effort to broaden network reach, Airtel Malawi has launched a network tower at Mangunda Trading centre, Thyolo.

Airtel’s Senior Business Manager Lesley Tsilizani admitted to the company’s shortfalls concerning network reach, but he also revealed plans for eliminating the problem. “..so this year alone we are going to erect 80 more towers across Malawi” said Tsilizani.

He also expressed the company’s desire to reach out to remote areas, which is a development that will kick start the availability of various technologies in rural areas.
