Airtel Malawi’s promise to erect 80 more network towers is amidst fulfillment; Chikwawa has witnessed its own network tower being installed.

The tower, planted in Alumenda trading centre, will have a 15-25Km coverage, to which the area’s Group Village Headman Simon is grateful for.

Airtel’s Marketing Manager Frank Magombo addressed the development as a journey of extending Airtel’s coverage to remote areas in Malawi to access more subscribers.

With statistics showing that the majority of Malawi’s population is in rural areas, Airtel’s reach to these remote areas is very commendable.
