Almost 31 days into 2019, Malawi has made strides in setting up power projects to curb power outages, namely the power purchase agreement with the United Arab Emirates and Germany’s commitment to invest in bio-energy, just to mention a few.
On the other hand, the Mulanje Hydro Limited (MHL) says the Ruo-Ndiza power project in Mulanje will be completed by December this year. The project is expected to generate 8.2 Megawatts, with investment from the Malawi Investment and Trade Centre.
