Local Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Bengol.net, has announced the completion of fire installation from the Indian Ocean in Mozambique, a development that is a K4 billion investment.
Briefing members of the press, Bengol.net Managing Director, Mohammad Abdullah, outlined that the company offers the best service with twenty-four hours uninterrupted connection. “We do not charge in gigabytes,” he said, “hence unlimited connectivity. You pay $85 once a month to access the service,”
Present at the briefing was Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (Macra) Director of Telecommunications, Henry Silika, who described the development as a milestone. “As Macra we are quite excited that Bengol.net has attained this milestone because what it would entail is that it would bring down costs of international bandwidth,” Silika said
