Amidst the absence of a security fence at Blantyre Sports Club, offices that are located near the golf course are vulnerable to intruders. Last night, Telecom Systems Malawi was broken into, as the offices are located near the golf course.

The incident has been reported to the police, while the office shows that the burglars were searching the office for hard cash; Files were left scattered across the office and drawers were left open. Blantyre Sports Club announced appointment of a new General Manager; the statement reads “Blantyre Sports Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ronuel Malikita as General Manager.” The new management will hopefully rectify security measures at the club.
