A statement by the management of Britam Insurance has announced that the Lilongwe Branch will be temporarily closed for 2 weeks, considering that some staff tested positive to coronavirus. “ Please note that the branch shall remain closed for the next 14 calendar days” says the statement dated 14th July 2020.
In the meantime, while the branch is closed, the premises will be disinfected to ensure the safety of all customers and employees. The staff will be on self-quarantine, as a clearance test will be conducted after a 14-day period and prior to re-opening of the branch. “Staff shall only return to their workstation upon a negative test certified by Lilongwe District Health Office” says the statement.
The branch will therefore offer most services remotely, as
customers are encouraged to use electronic communications in any form and/or call for virtual meetings if need be. For more, contact
