Various players in the private sector players have formed a grouping called the Scaling up nutrition Business Network (SBN) which is aimed at combating malnutrition in the country.

SBN Chairperson Oswald Bwemba revealed that SBN He said SBN is co-organized by the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (Gain) and World Food Program (WFP).

According to Bwemba, SBN will oversee the implementation of three key objectives, namely the mobilization of businesses to contribution towards the reduction of malnutrition, making good nutrition affordable and available for the consumer and building the case for greater business engagement in nutrition among all stakeholders.
