The Buy Malawi Build Malawi initiative has announced its registered members, urging other businesses to do the same.

Buy Malawi is a strategy that creates awareness and educate consumers at all levels to buy local products, to uplift local businesses in terms of employment, poverty eradication, protecting the local revenue base, promoting patriotism and many more.

The following businesses are under the Buy Malawi Strategy Membership;

OG Plastics

The plastic items giant just launched plastic chairs. Locally  manufacturing plastic utensils since 2008, OG Plastics has been making woven sacks, polythene bags, black sheets, polywraps, PVC & HDPE Pipes, PET & HDPE Preforms and Bottles and closures and assorted various items.

Sunseed Oil Limited

Sunseed limited are the manufacturers of Cooking Oil and the first fridge free Margarine in Malawi; products that are of high quality and standards

Rab Processors

The Agro-processing giant that needs no introduction has been around since 1983 with its products making waves ever since. Makers of ThumbsUp and Likuni Phala, Rab Processors is vastly diverse in its products.

Ori Meat Products

Meat Products manufacturers, distributors and suppliers, Ori Meat has been around since 1992, famous for its high quality sausages and French Polony.

Global Seeds

Producing drought resistant seeds, the company produces groundnuts, soyabeans, pigeon peas and sugar beans

Central Poultry

Largest processor and marketer of chicken, Central Poultry is a fully integrated broiler producer that breeds and rears its own livestock which it feeds from its own feed mills, processes, distributes and markets fresh and frozen chicken as well as commercial eggs.
