Castel Malawi gave 20 cases of Quench Water to Times Group to be used during the elections coverage, as Castel Malawi Head of Marketing, Twikale Chirwa, attributed the donation to the beverage company’s understanding of the huge task that the media group has in covering the elections.

Receiving the donation, Times Group Commercial Manager, Lusayo Msukwa, thanked the beverage giant for the support, stating that Malawians will tune in through Times Television, Times Radio and Times Online to get minute by minute updates as Fresh Presidential Election Results come in.

Presidential elections in Malawi will be held tomorrow on 23 June 2020, having originally been scheduled for 19 May and later 2 July. The elections follow the constitutional court’s annulment of the results of the 2019 presidential elections, citing evidence of irregularities, and ordered fresh elections be held within 150 days.
