CDH Investment Bank last week donated K4 million for the facilitation of online emergency remote learning at Kamuzu College of Nursing (KCN).
CDH Investment Bank’s Chief Business Development Officer, Benison Jambo presented the donation as a swift response to KCN’s fundraising initiative for sourcing internet enabled gadgets for students in need, to allow them attend classes remotely amidst social distancing learning measures during the Covid-19 pandemic. “Now more than ever, it is important for health systems and health care organizations to create and ensure an infrastructure and mobilise resources to support effective development of physicians and nurses,” said Jambo.
Receiving the donation, KCN Vice Principal Belinda Gombachika said the donation will allow the College to finish the academic year without leaving some students behind as they will catch up digitally.
