CFAO Malawi was displaying its cars at the Parliament in Lilongwe, when it was learnt that the demonstrators detoured from their route, heading to parliament. As this was not the initial plan or route of the demonstrations, CFAO Malawi has removed its fleet of automobiles which was on display for interested buyers in the August House.

The General Manager of CFAO has confirmed that there were no damages made to the vehicles, though branding materials were removed by the demonstrators. The removal of the cars is a safety measure that other deals have considering including Toyota, Nissan and HTD.
