President Lazarus Chakwera has donated K1 million to go towards the completion of a youth centre at Capital City Baptist Church in Lilongwe, as the Church’s Senior Pastor Sanders Msiska thanked the President for the gesture.

The President made the pledge when he congregated at the church, accompanied by First Lady Monica Chakwera. “We should always be mindful of the life after here. I am glad that the senior pastor has ably reminded us on that this morning,” Chakwera said in compliments of the sermon prior.

The church’s senior pastor outlined that the youth center is meant to provide an enabling environment that will stimulate creativity and encourage productivity.
