A group of Chinese business people in Malawi, has supported the country’s fight against the pandemic, by supporting the country’s fight against the second wave of Covid.
51,000 face masks were presented to Blantyre District Health Office (DHO) by the Chairperson of the community, Shaohui Chen. In response to the donation, the Director of Health and Social Services for Blantyre District Gift Kawalazira said health facilities in the country still need such protective gear despite having many more in stock.
“These are disposable tools, so although we still have some in stock, we still need a continuous supply because we are also continuously disposing them after use,” Kawalazira told journalists.
