Community Savings and Investment Promotion (COMSIP) Cooperative Union Limited handed warehouse worth almost K6M to Dzalanyama COMSIP in Dedza.
The Secretary for the Dzalanyama cooperative, Goodwell Divani said the warehouse would help benefit more profits, since previously the branch faced challenges in keeping crop produce due to lack of storage space.
The Dzalanyama cooperative comprises of 63 members of which 42 are women, currently has got MK4, 992,490 and they expect it to grow to MK8.2 million by the end of this year.
COSMIP is a capacity enhancement initiative designed to inculcate the culture of savings and investment in both rural and urban communities, with funding from the World Bank through the Local Development Fund (LDF)
