The Employer’s Consultative Association of Malawi (ECAM) urged its members to comply with the Pension Act (2010).

In a statement released ECAM is encouraging all its members to provide the updated information in the prescribed format by the Registrar of Financial Institutions.

The statement also calls for Organizations that are not members but would like assistance, should contact the firm through 0995 189 391.

Recently it was announced by the Registrar of Financial Institutions that pension remittance arrears by parastatals and private sector firms have amounted up to K10.1 billion. Naming and shaming the private sectors that do not comply with the Pension Act (2010) will be the resolve if the respective firms do not pay their dues by June.
