ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES News – AWARDS SHEBAMILES MEMBERS

Blue or Silver status ShebaMiles member who

joined Ethiopian loyalty program during its commencement in 1999 have been awarded ShebaMiles Gold Status as part of the

celebration of the 20th Anniversary of ShebaMiles.

According to a press statement by Ethiopian Airlines, the award will take effect as of 2020, is offered to 130 Blue and Silver status members. “Members who have already achieved ShebaMiles Gold and Platinum status will also have their status extended until the end of 2020.” said part of the press statement.

On the other hand, in celebration of the 20th anniversary, Ethiopian Airlines’ Frequent Flyer Program, ShebaMiles, has launched a ‘1-million-mile Reward’ promotion to offer loyal members 100,000 miles for consecutive 10 months.

The Frequent Flyer Program enables members accumulate miles which will entitle them to award tickets, upgrade awards and many other privileges. The more miles the members fly the higher the benefits they get from ShebaMiles. Membership to the program is open to everyone above the age of two years.
