The European Union has released 3.5 million Euros in emergency aid following cyclone Idai and deadly floods in Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe.
Confirming the development, the Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid Christos Styliandes has said that the EU feels for everyone affected by Cyclone Idai.
In a statement released from the EU delegation to Malawi, the donation will be used to place affected people in emergency shelters, provide hygiene, sanitation and health care.
