In an effort to increase the visibility of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) to more customers and improve their access to markets, the Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI) will introduce a Farmers Market.
The initiative that will happen on the last Saturday of every month, is courtesy of MCCCI’s Star Category membership which costs K90,000 per year. The membership will have the farmers market as a benefit along with access to trade information through MCCCI’s documentation centers, just to mention a few.
The farmers will be a practical step into bridging the gap between SMEs and potential customers, hence the development has been hailed as beneficial. Meanwhile MCCCI is calling for Membership renewals, so that members interests can be defended and promoted. For more information on the farmers market, MCCCI has left this contact for calls: 0999361132.
