During this year’s Public Relations Society of Malawi (PRSM) Annual General Meeting, the FDH Financial Holdings Chief Executive Officer, Thomson Mpinganjira, was awarded with an honorary fellow medal for his contributions towards public relations in the country.

PRSM Executive Member and Awards Committee Chairperson, Thom Khanje said that the award follows after Mpinganjira performed excellently in the field. “We thought of his contributions to the country; he has helped institutions, the needy, netball, football and other sectors, so we wanted to appreciate his work, hence honoring him with the award,” Khanje said.

Mpinganjira considered the award as a great honour. “This is more surprising considering that it is coming from an organisation which I am not a member but they are able to recognise the work I have rendered” He said. On the other hand, FDH Bank scooped 9 awards during the CIM Marketing Excellence Awards which were held at Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre, last Saturday.
