The festive season approaches with the Football Association of Malawi having a lot to be thankful for; especially the recent sponsorship by FDH bank, being a renewal of a prior commitment signed in 2016.
Fam President Walter Nyamilandu had excitement written all over his face as he signed the documentation concerning the agreement, which was no surprise considering that FDH not only renewed its partnership, but doubled it as well. FDH sponsored K30m per year during the 2016 agreement, now the bank will give K60m per year, for 3 years.
The bank’s Deputy Managing Director, William Mpinganjira was present at the ceremony held at Fam’s Mpira village in Chiwembe, where he posed for pictures with the Fam President, holding a dummy cheque. Nyamilandu said the sponsorship will help operations fixated on the junior Flames team.
Meanwhile FDH is making waves when it comes to giving back to the community, as the bank recently renovated the Pediatric ICU at Malamulo Adventist Hospital, Thyolo.
