10 years ago, First Capital Bank rolled out the first mobile platform in Malawi and has now launched an app as a development aimed at a continued transformational journey.
The app was announced in a statement by the bank’s Head of Transactional banking and marketing, Ewen Hiwa, who said the initiative was the growth of sophistication of their lifestyles and taste.
Features on App include direct statement download, viewing if multiple accounts and loan account balances, quick payments registered billers without logging in, biometric and/or face identity log in. “We are launching the app with the theme ‘Make Time for What You Believe In’ which is aligned with our brand purpose of enabling people to achieve the extraordinary” said the statement. “The app is well thought and meticulously developed. Customers can send remittance tokens directly via Whatsapp to enable beneficiaries cash out money at First Capital Bank automated teller machines” said Hiwa.
