To assist households that were affected by the recent Cyclon Idai rains and winds, First Capital Bank has donated K10 million.

The donation was made to La Caverna’s Blue Buckets of Hope Flood Relief Initiative, which will work together with non-governmental organizations to help flood victims in Thyolo, Mulanje and Chikwawa districts to help restoring their lives.

First Capital Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Thomas Kadantot expressed concern for the current situation that the flood victims are facing. “The gesture demonstrates our long-term commitment to the country”. said Kadantot.

The donated amount will be used in buy maize flour, nutritional food supplements and rice, among others.
