Staff of Fisd Limited Company have organized a sit-in, as revealed in their letter addressed to FISD Management and Directors.
According to the letter, the sit-in follows unfulfilled promises to settle the employees dues which have been outstanding for the past 5 months. The letter, submitted today, (13th August 2019) has demanded that the overdue salaries and per diems should be settled or the employees will not report to work, while they wait at the gate for their grievances to be settled.
The letter has stressed that the sit-in will be peaceful, but may turn violent if the company’s Directors and Managers threaten an individual. “We will only answer phone calls from Directors and Management, as a group” says part of the letter.
