The Ministry of Tourism and the Tourism Board have suspended 250 tourism facilities because of their failure to meet minimum certification requirements.

In a statement released, the Department of Tourism is stressing that the general public should only transact with firms that have been approved by the Tourism and Hotels Board.

Surprisingly, some of the facilities that have failed to meet minimum certification requirements are government owned.
