Grand Palace Hotel in Mzuzu has donated protective items to persons with albinism (PWAs) to protect them from the sun.
The hotel’s manager, Francis Salia, who handed over umbrellas and hats to the Association for Persons with Albinism in Malawi (Apam), whose representative, Christopher Ndovi, commended the hotel for, noting that there were enough hats and umbrellas for PWAs in Mzuzu and other parts of the country.
Grand Palace Hotel Manager Francis Salia said the items were given as a corporate social responsibility. The hotel also treated the PWAs to a tasty luncheon.
