Icon properties started at K8.75 per share and is now at K12. At a listing ceremony held at Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre, the company declared a successful start, having allotted 1036 share applications, of which 97% were applied by locals and retail investors, with the remaining percentage belonging to foreign based and institutional investors.

Icon properties has 35 properties, including Chichiri Shopping Centre and Lilongwe City Mall, just to mention a few. The combined value of all properties is a whopping K50.04bn.
