Besides the Malawian Mangoes being exported to India and the $3m Incubation Centre in Dowa, the Mulanje Water Project and the Salima Sugar Plant, India has pledged to continue its support to Malawi to transform the country into a predominantly exporting nation.
“We make sure that development projects that we carry out have a direct impact on Malawian Communities” said the Indian High Commissioner, Suresh Kumar Menon. He also urged Malawians of Indian origin to have a spirit of oneness between Malawi and India, as the two have in diplomatic ties since 1964.
