Figures from the National Statistical Office have revealed that year-on-year headline inflation went down marginally by 0.2 percentage points in November, from 7.5 in October to 7.3.
During the month under review, Food inflation rate was at 3.7% from 4.8% registered in October 2020 while non-food inflation remained constant at 0.5%.
Meanwhile, with the 28% hike in fuel prices, food prices are likely to be affected, hence inflation altogether. Currently there has been heavy criticism towards the fuel price hike, while global prices have also seen an increment.
