Last month 2019 registered a 0.2 percentage points, translating to 9.1%, as shown by figures from the National Statistics Office.
Food inflation was at 13.8% (from 14.4% a 0.6 percentage points decrease) while non-food inflation during the month was recorded at 5.4% (from 5%; a 4 percentage increase points).
In comparison with April 2018, inflation was at 9.7%. The April report therefore shows that the development means that prices of goods and services rose at a slower rate during April 2019.
