Central Region Water Board has revealed plans to alert customers of their bills using short message service (SMS), to enable customers to pay water bills on time and for fast-tracking bill processing.

The above was revealed at CRWB’s event in Salima, where customers that pay bills on time, were being awarded.

CRWB Director of Technical Services John Makwenda said the initiative will let customers to know their bill on time. “It is our duty to provide effective and efficient services” said Makwenda.
