Following spike of COVID-19 cases in Kasungu District, Kamuzu Academy will close early, on Saturday 26th June, 2021.
According to a notice signed by the Academy’s Deputy Headmaster, Students will be able to leave school from tomorrow, Friday 25th June, 2021, at 3.30 pm. “we request you to make appropriate arrangements for the students to travel home on Friday and Saturday.” reads part of the notice.
Earlier this week, the Board of Governors for Central High International School and Mount View International Primary school one week earlier due to the rapid rise of COVID-19 cases in the country. As of 13:15pm today, Malawi registered 35,115 Coronavirus Cases and 1,177 deaths.
