Due to the renovation of the old Passenger Terminal Building Wing as Kamuzu International Airport (KIA), the airport has announced that passengers should check in from the New Domestic Terminal Wing, with effect from 24 May 2019.

In a notice released by KIA Management, the airport has advised customers on how to properly check in at the new terminal. The notice reads “Passengers are therefore advised to report 3 hours before the departure time to allow time for travel formalities. Passengers are also advised that check in countries will close one hour before boarding time.”

Management has assured passengers that it has put it place all necessary measures to guide passengers.
