Following the shutdown of the main runway at Chileka Airport, Kenya Airways has canceled flights 750/751 between April 26th and 15 May 2019.
A statement by Kenya Airways reads “Passengers booked on the affected flights should be re-booked VIA JNB on SA as per the KQ/SA re-protection agreement”
Refunds have been arranged for the cancellation period, April 26th and 15 May 2019. As for fully unutilised tickets, a full refund is allowed, with refund penalties waived.
For partially unutilised tickets, refund will be awarded per ticket rules, but refund penalties will be waived.
Chileka Airport’s main runway will be under maintenance, to be completed by 23 July 2019. However, in the statement, Kenya Airways has promised to resume flights on 17th May 2019.
