Lake of Stars has announced that it will take place from September 27 – 29 at Kachere Kastle, in Nkhata Bay district.

The three-day festival promises a unique, immersive adventure for festival-goers set in the grounds of a Moroccan-style castle.

According to the event’s Facebook page, this year themed ‘Lake of Stars Discovery’ will feature a curated line up of music, talks, poetry, theatre, film, art, workshops and wellness activities, in an intimate and inspiring space.

Lake of Stars promotes Malawian arts and tourism through international interaction and exposure. Dating back to 2003, festivals are organised on the shores of Lake Malawi and run events in Europe and across Africa.
