Lilongwe old town National Bank’s fire alarms rang, as the fire brigade swiftly responded to the scenery of panicked staff, customers and onlookers.

Though the cause of the supposed fire has not yet been communicated, what is known is that the situation was calmed down and in control, since the fire brigade did not even roll out the fire hose.

The fire brigade’s fire fighters gained access to the premises by entering through the rear gate.
