Lilongwe Water Board has partnered with NBS bank, a development that will see customers buying water tokens through the bank’s mobile and online platforms.

LWB Director of Finance Silli Mbewe said the development was aimed at increasing the use of prepaid meters, of which 5000 customers are on.

NBS Senior Manager for Channels and Customer Service Gracious Changaya said the initiative is a win-win situation as it accomplishes the bank’s efforts to offer convenient services to customers.

NBS customers will now be able to transact and buy their water tokens through Easy Mobile 322.
