Upon calling for project proposals for financing in 2018, the Malawi Agricultural Industrial Investment Corporation (Maiic) has revealed receiving more than 100 project proposals worth K194bn.

Maiic will raise capital worth K733bn in the next 10 years, while it will partner will invest in various players in the private sector.

With plans to enlist on the Malawi Stock Exchange to raise more capital, Maiic will be a force to reckon with in the business sector.
