Malawi Airlines has apologised to its passengers for the flight schedule disruptions that have occurred since Wednesday, 11th December, 2019.
The management of the airline has explained that one if the aircraft is unserviceable, a development that has resulted in ad hoc schedule adjustment and cancellation of Lusaka and Harare flights.
“We expect to restore normal operations by Saturday, 14th December, 2019. Every effort is being made to ensure all affected passengers are protected on available flights.” says a Facebook post on the airline’s page.
Also last week, Malawi Airlines announced that it applied to Malawi Department of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to allow use of cabin crew from external source on relief basis. “These flight attendants will follow due process and start their work once all formalities are concluded” said the statement last week.
