Professional golfers Paul Chidale and Victor Kachepatsonga will fly conveniently to participate at the KCB Karen Masters golf tournament in Nairobi, as Malawi Airlines has sponsored them with 3 return tickets.

The tournament saw 156 professional golfers who played from 27 to 30 June, 2019. Accompanied by the Malawi Professional Golfers Association (PGA_ President Patridge Sychal who was with the Malawian golfers as leader of delegation, the Malawian golfers experienced a remarkable golfing experience. Sychal thanked Malawi Airlines for the tickets which he said had made the tour possible. “As PGA Malawi, we are so much indebted to Malawi Airlines for the generosity and  patriotism displayed by sponsoring our athletes to take part in such a  prestigious tournament.”

The East African Community, (a grouping of nationals from the Republics of Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Uganda and Tanzania) also assisted the Malawian golfers with sponsorship for accommodation, local transportation costs and upkeep allowances. The community also appreciated Malawi Airlines for its support for the golfers.
