MyBucks Banking Corporation Malawi has partnered Medical Aid Society of Malawi (Masm) for the payment of Masm subscription fees in all MyBucks Malawi branches nationwide and also through its digital platform *632# flex mobile.
MyBucks Malawi head of retail and SME banking Mayamiko Kalizang’oma attributed the development to the bank’s focus on making people’s lives better through convenient and simplified banking using technology and partnerships.
On the other hand, Masm chief commercial officer Bernard Ambali said the partnership resonates with the healthy insurance service provider’s objective of providing convenience to their customers on monthly subscription payment. “Considering the current Covid-19 situation, more innovative ways of doing business also help members to transact in the convenience of their homes or offices,” he said.
Recently, the bank also announced “Bizinesi itukuke” a loan aimed to be accessed by Micro and SME Customers.Chief Commercial Officer for the bank, Bernard Mkandawire said the loan will assist businesses affected by the Covid-19 pandemic capital expenditure and working capital. Bizinesi Itukuke offers a maximum lending limit of K25,000,000, and is being offered at a concessionary interest rate of 11% per annum, subject to fulfillment of all prescribed terms and condition
