During the ban of the Revin energy drink’s Media briefing, the Malawi Bureau of Standards and the Pharmacy, Medicines and Poisons Board (PMPB) addressed manufacturers to be honest with what they are offering in public.
This warning was in correlation with the adulterated Revin energy drinks which had an element known as Siidenafil Citrate, which has been reported to have excruciating side effects and is supposed to be a prescription medicine. “This is against both the MBS and PMPB Acts” said MBS acting director Willy Muliya.
