Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) has supported flood victims by donating K23 million in assorted and a separate K2 million financial aid.

MRA Commissioner General Thom Gray Malata said the items donated were seized from unlicensed exporters. The items were received by the Minister of Homeland Security Nicholas Dausi, who received on behalf of the Department of Disaster Management Affairs (Dodma).

The items donated are 299 (25 kg) bags of maize flour, 500 bales of sugar, 400 bags of salt, weighing 50 kg each.
