Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) will implement a 24-hour anti-smuggling patrol service and using drones, to combat the ongoing and growing malpractice of smuggling.
MRA head of corporate affairs Steven Kapoloma revealed that the authority is considering buying these modern devices to be checking goods at any given time.
On the other hand, despite various economic/business reviews stating that the 2019/20 financial year was slow due to pre/post election tension and other factors, MRA announced that it has targeted to collect K1.3 trillion.
