Last Friday, Lilongwe was graced with a Mugg and Bean at Area 6 Total Service Station, as a partnership between Total Malawi and AKI Investment Limited.
Total Malawi Network Commercial Manager Sekaninge Kaliati said that the eatery was means to link the convenience of fueling a vehicle and grabbing a snack. “We believe that if you come to this place, perhaps to grab a snack at the Bonjour Shop, you will end up fueling your vehicle then maybe you say I can also get a coffee; so one business line influences the other”
According to AKI Investments Operations Manager Thilan Karunathilake, said the restaurant, together with the filling station and shop, is a K250 million investment. He also added that the capital city has a huge demand for the filling station, shop and restaurant, hence he looked forward to yielding much returns.
