Following President Peter Mutharika’s attendance at the inaugural UK-Africa Investment Forum in London, United Kingdom (UK), Malawi will present 18 investment opportunities.
The summit that has brought together businesses, governments and international institutions to showcase and promote the breadth and quality of investment opportunities across Africa.
Malawi Investment and Trade Centre (Mitc) chief executive officer Clement Kumbemba told The Nation Newspaper that some bankable projects to be presented are Press Corporation, Nico Holdings plc, CDH Investment Bank, Egenco and Lilongwe Water Board among others.
British High Commissioner Holly Tett said that the UK looks forward to strengthening trade and investment ties with Malawi. On the other hand, The British High Commission in Lilongwe announced last week that UK Prime Minister Boris Johnston will host the summit
